Though, we often feel that the best way to get out of the city commotion is to escape into county areas but there are few cities that are designed in such a way that they provide you complete relaxation and enjoyment and one such city in Canada is Vancouver.

Vancouver is one of the largest metropolitan areas in Canada and in British Columbia. The city is rated as the best city on the planet for the year 2010 and therefore many new businesses and companies are now moving to Vancouver which would soon become the city of future. The reason why this city is the best place on earth is because it provides great facilities and options to locales and to the international tourists as well. It has been noticed that the number of people traveling to Vancouver has increased in the year 2009 and experts predict that the numbers will only grow in the future.

If you are in Vancouver you should definitely go and visit the Vancouver Lookout which is one of the most famous destinations in Vancouver. The structure itself has become a symbol for Vancouver. In other words, it is what the Eiffel Tower is to Paris. The Lookout has a glass elevator that takes you to the top of the structure in mere 50 seconds and than you can enjoy the most breath taking view in Vancouver. This place gives you a 360 degree view of the city and even Vancouver Islands in the far. Another place for adventure that you can try is Capilano Bridge which is suspended 230 feet above the Capilano River and it takes a lot of guts to cross the bridge.

If you love to checkout the nature around the Vancouver City than visit the Grouse Mountains which is just a 15 minute drive from the downtown and you will definitely enjoy taking a lot of photographs of yourself with scenic backgrounds. If you are in a car you will also enjoy the tunnels that you will have to pass through to reach Grouse Mountains. Apart from that you can also enjoy magnificent view of Fraser Canyon that has played an important role in the history of British Columbia. Hence, the place is not only beautiful and scenic but it also tells you its historical importance. You will be stunned to see that Fraser River has more flow than the Niagara Falls and that is where you will find bunch of international visitors who come from all over the world to checkout this amazing view.

Vancouver City is loaded with accommodations and other facilities like car hire and guides, hotels and restaurants that not only serve local cuisine but also serve different ethnic cuisines from world over.
