Silymarin is an ordinary plant called milk thistle. It contains a compound that can be used as medicine.n It was discovered when some researchers became interested with several herbal plants and traditional treatments use by natives, because of their medicinal properties. This plant is commonly found throughout the world, although its native habitat extended as far as Sothern Europe and Asia.
